The project is based on my original sketch. The goal was to translate a graphic 2D stylization into volume while preserving the character, silhouette, and decorative plasticity of the figure.

The model was created step by step: first a version without a pose - working on anatomy and primary masses, then blocking the clothing and decorative elements. After that, rigging and posing.

Technical Breakdown

Below are several stages of the character development, including blockout, sculpting, topology work and initial rig setup.

Anubis is built with intentionally exaggerated proportions: a massive upper body, shortened legs, and an emphasized rhythm of forms. Special attention was given to the silhouette and readability of the character at a distance - every detail is subordinated to the overall shape and compositional balance.
